If you’re ever looking at the moon, and you hear her call your name, don’t be surprised. She hears about you every night. I told her about the night we first met. I relived the night over and over again and giggled at your dumb jokes for the thousandth time. I told her about the night you first kissed me and how I finally felt like things were turning around. She was there for it all. She held me and comforted me when no one else was around. She even cradled me when I was sobbing when you turned out to be like the rest. The moon has been my best friend for years now, so if she screams your name in anger, do not be surprised, because she knew how I felt the second you left me.
