Born to fly

She wasn't given wings to see the world from a tree. She was given wings to explore the highest of mountains and the deepest of caves. She was born to give people a new perspective on the world. She was sunshine. She was fearless. She was like no other. She was nothing I'd ever seen before. I wondered how someone could be beautiful and yet so simple, but there was something about that simpleness that made her so beautiful. I knew I'd never find someone like her again, so I tried to hold onto her as much as I could. I clung to her like a wet paper towel, but in clinging to her she began to break. I then realized that she was so majestic because she was born to fly and I couldn't keep her caged anymore.
