To whoever is struggling:

No matter what is going on in your life, whether it be a bad relationship/friendship, school, work, or family issues, you're gonna get through it. Know your worth. This is one of the most important keys I can give you. One day, you're gonna look into the mirror and tell yourself, "I am worth more than this feeling." It's gonna change your life.

Another thing, it's okay to cry. Sometimes things get really overwhelming and too much to handle. Let it all out, we all need a good long crying session from time to time. Do it. Sit in your room, lock the door, cuddle up in a warm blanket and let it out. Call your best friend for support, lay with your dog, or just be by yourself... Whatever you need. You have people, it may not seem like it, but you have people that love and care about you.

This one is a hard one, but you need to learn to let go. Let go of the resentment, let go of the feelings others made you feel. Learn that there are people and things that we can't change and the moment that you let go of the toxic things in your life, the moment you realize you suddenly have all this free time to spend with the people who build you up, is the moment you can finally breathe again. Rekindle old friendships, go out and meet new people, start writing that book you've been meaning to write. Whatever it is, do it.

Whatever you're worrying about right now, you need to learn to move on. Grades don't measure your worth as a person. That significant other who treats you like dirt does not keep you alive. That job that you wake up every morning miserable to go to isn't the only job you'll ever have. So move on. Study a little harder, but in the end, know that you did your best. Get rid of that guy or girl who treats you like dirt and focus on yourself. Go out and find a new job! The possibilities are endless, you simply just have to take that first step.

And lastly, you are not alone. We live in a society where there are people at your fingertips ready and willing to speak to you, text with you, or whatever it is that you need. You have a huge support system that you probably don't even know exists. So take a deep breath, take the plunge, and reach out. You never know who will stumble into your life when you need them the most.

Sincerely,

someone who cares...

Our new normal...

Typically at 9 pm on a Saturday night I'd still be at home getting ready to go out with friends. It feels like it's been forever since...

Cravings

...numb...

I am tired, and it is so awfully difficult to feel sad and tired when all you want is to feel alive. I feel numb. That's it... Just numb....
